Scope of work:
– Loft extension
– Side double story extension
– Rear extension
– Whole house refurb
Maximising all space and modernising the home was a large priority hence the spread of work which needed to be done. Starting with the loft, the loft features an bedroom with an ensuite including a WC, walk in shower and a bidet. The bathroom also has a skylight installed as lighting is always key when refurbing or extending a property.
The bedroom itself is complete with the addition of 3 Velux windows and a Juliette balcony, the staircase which takes you to the loft is looked down on by another skylight.
The purpose of the side extension was to allow for space for the stairs and to also eliminate the need for destroying one of the existing bedrooms and has also allowed for their to be another room (TV room). This room was chosen to be another leisure room however for those with bigger families or even investors can choose to utilise it as a bedroom for more profit.
The kitchen was built in a way that it allows for the whole family to be together as it also includes a leisure area, the fixed panel and 2 panel sliding door allow for light to flow in and also creates an illusion of more space which was a big objective of this job (as is of many).
